I’m going to say it honestly:
Breakfast here is exceptional.
The buffet changes daily and feels curated rather than generic.
Fresh fruit.
Local touches.
Hot classics.
Sweet options.
Made-to-order dishes that genuinely taste homemade.
But what makes it special is the atmosphere.
You can:
• Start inside the cool, air-conditioned restaurant
• Move to the shaded terrace
• Or take your coffee outside overlooking the pool
One morning, I sat with my coffee, feeling the breeze, watching early swimmers below. It was one of those quiet holiday moments where time slows down.
And that, to me, is luxury.
Location - The Estate Agent Perspective
As I always tell my London clients:
Location is everything.
And Nestor Hotel is positioned brilliantly.
3 Minutes to Pantachou Beach
Within a three-minute walk, you’re at Pantachou Beach – one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in the area.
My favourite swimming spot is near the third lifeguard tower, close to:
• Grecian Bay Hotel
• Melissi Beach Hotel
The water here is calm, clear and perfect for long swims.
Steps from Ayia Napa Harbour
The hotel is moments from Ayia Napa Harbour.
This is where:
• Boats leave for daily excursions
• You can dine with sea views
• The sunset light reflects beautifully on the marina
I’m slightly obsessed with boats – and waking up overlooking Limanaki harbour from our balcony made every morning feel special.
Close to Nissi Beach & Entertainment
A 10-minute drive takes you to the iconic Nissi Beach, famous for white sand and turquoise water.
For something playful, Parko Paliatso Luna Park is just a short walk away.
And if you’re feeling energetic, Ayia Napa’s legendary nightlife street is around 15 minutes on foot.
The positioning allows you to choose your pace.
And having that choice?
That’s real lifestyle value.
The Room - Comfort with Thoughtful Details
We stayed in Room 420B on the fourth floor.
When I opened the curtains on our first morning, I paused.
Cape Greco in the distance.
Palm trees gently moving.
Boats leaving the harbour.
It felt like a Mediterranean postcard.
The room includes:
• Twin beds (surprisingly ideal – no movement disturbance!)
• Wardrobes and safe
• Dressing table with mirror
• Hairdryer
• Coffee machine (refilled daily)
• Tea, milk, sugar provided
• Mini fridge
• International TV channels
• Bathrobes and slippers
• Daily housekeeping
Practical note:
• Cyprus uses UK plugs
• Tap water is not drinkable – bottled water is provided
The balcony setup is functional and relaxing, with chairs, table and drying rack – simple but effective.
The Bathroom - Small but Elevated
The rainfall shower fountain deserves its own mention – I may or may not have taken several outfit photos there.
Daily toiletries include:
• Shampoo & conditioner
• Shower gel
• Body lotion
• Soap
And yes – important local tip: do not flush toilet paper in Cyprus.

• Couples wanting balance between beach and nightlife

It’s not ultra-flashy five-star excess.
It’s well-positioned, well-designed, and intelligently balanced.
And sometimes, that’s exactly what you want.
