As a London estate agent, I instinctively notice space, location, flow and lifestyle value wherever I go. From the moment I arrived in Ayia Napa, the hotel offered an appealing balance: relaxed without feeling remote, comfortable without being overcomplicated, and close to both the beach and the town centre.

Breakfast at Nestor Hotel
Breakfast was one of the highlights of my stay. The buffet changed daily and felt thoughtfully presented rather than generic, with fresh fruit, local touches, hot favourites, sweet options and made-to-order dishes.
You can eat in the air-conditioned restaurant, sit on the shaded terrace or take your coffee outside overlooking the pool. One morning, I sat with my coffee, felt the breeze and watched the early swimmers below. It was one of those quiet holiday moments when time seems to slow down—and that, to me, is luxury.
The hotel’s official information describes Minos Restaurant as serving buffet meals with an open kitchen and live cooking.
Nestor Hotel Location: Beach, Harbour and Town Centre
As I often tell my London clients, location shapes the whole experience.
Nestor Hotel is particularly well positioned: the hotel states that it is approximately 300 metres from the beach and fishing harbour and around 300 metres from Ayia Napa town centre. That gives you easy access to the coast, restaurants and local attractions without sacrificing a relaxing base.
A Few Minutes from the Beach
Pantachou Beach is only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. My favourite swimming area was near the third lifeguard tower, close to Grecian Bay Hotel and Melissi Beach Hotel. I found the water clear and inviting, and it was ideal for a long swim.

Close to Ayia Napa Harbour
Ayia Napa Harbour is also nearby. It is a lively place for boat excursions, waterfront dining and evening views.
I have always loved boats, so waking up and looking towards Limanaki harbour from our balcony made each morning feel special.
Easy Access to Nissi Beach and Ayia Napa
Nissi Beach, known for its white sand and turquoise water, is a short drive away. Parko Paliatso Luna Park is within walking distance, while Ayia Napa’s restaurants and nightlife are also easily accessible from the hotel.
The location lets you choose your own pace: a quiet beach morning, a boat trip, an evening meal or a livelier night out. That flexibility is genuine lifestyle value.
Our Room at Nestor Hotel
We stayed in Room 420B on the fourth floor. When I opened the curtains on our first morning, I paused: Cape Greco appeared in the distance, palm trees moved gently below and boats were leaving the harbour. It felt like a Mediterranean postcard.
During our stay, our room included:
• Twin beds
• Wardrobes and a safe
• A dressing table with mirror and hairdryer
• A coffee machine, with supplies replenished during our stay
• Tea-making facilities
• A mini fridge
• International television channels
• Bathrobes and slippers
• Daily housekeeping
The balcony had chairs, a table and a drying rack: a simple but practical setup. UK-style electrical sockets were another convenient detail for British visitors.

The Bathroom
The rainfall shower deserves its own mention—I may or may not have taken several outfit photographs there.
During our stay, the bathroom included shampoo and conditioner, shower gel, body lotion and soap.
Bottled water was supplied in our room. For questions about drinking water or local plumbing, follow the hotel’s current guidance and any bathroom signage, as arrangements can vary.
Who Is Nestor Hotel Best For?

This is not an ultra-flashy resort built around five-star excess. In my experience, it is comfortable, well positioned and thoughtfully balanced—and sometimes that is exactly what you want.
My Final Verdict
Whether I am evaluating a London home or a Mediterranean hotel, I ask the same question: how does this place make you feel?
Nestor Hotel made me feel relaxed, energised, inspired and well positioned. Its central Ayia Napa location, enjoyable breakfast and easy access to the coast are the reasons I would consider returning.
