Riu Yucatan, Playa del Carmen | Mexico
We want to share with you our Mexico experience and all the important you should know when you are thinking to go there. We couldn´t decide for a long time where to go for our holiday in November. We had to book something because we would have lost our holiday at work. At first, we wanted to go to Jamaica we had already chosen a resort but in the end, we decided to go to Mexico.
Why Riu Yucatan?
We checked a lot of reviews at trip advisor and also we watched a lot of videos on youtube from visitors as they give you an authentic experience. It took us almost a week to choose the best resort. We loved many resorts but when we check the YouTube videos we found out that they have a small beach or there are huge stones in the sea in front of the beach. This you can not see in catalog pictures. When choosing our holiday we always look at the:
- Beach – must be big with a lot of palm trees + clean sea
- Resort – must be clean and had good reviews
- Activities – is there something special to do?
This place is perfect! The beach is fabulous, huge, and clean with a lot of palm trees. We have never seen a bigger beach than this one. Usually, you have a big problem finding a sunbed but here were plenty of them. No problem at all.
According to the resort you can see on our video that is newly refurnished, it looked like they just build it a few weeks ago. Everything is there new and clean with the most friendly staff you can only imagine.
Scuba Diving was the most adventurous activity for us. We wanted to make it for many years and here in Mexico, our dream came true! It was the most awesome thing we could do. Also, we can not forget our great trip to
Chichen Itza with a swimming stop in Cenote Hubiku and Tequila Museum, which was the best trip we did in Mexico. We also love TulumJungle with ziplining over the jungle and swimming in caves, you must try those things.
Party, party…. we heard a lot about the famous party in Coco Bongo and we could not miss it. Coco Bongo is doing the best party mix with the great show full of acrobatic moments and effects. If you are there you must see it on your own.
